PRAYERS OF THE HEART

Three volume collection

The title, Prayers of the Heart, is quite literally what I have written. My botanical and scenic photography has allowed me to see God’s Artwork in a fascinating array of colors, shapes and sizes. Sunlight captures the essence of everything it touches and is the reason I am drawn to photography.

After writing, I realized in Volume One, I was searching for harmony, in Volume Two, for joy, and in Volume Three, for treasure.

What a gift this life is, and what a journey!

I love photography. To me, it is pure joy! It’s chasing the sunlight as it illuminates and gives clarity, capturing a moment in time of God’s artwork.

Early one morning, I was walking along the seashore just south of the San Clemente CA pier, feeling the sadness that many people feel when they lose a loved one.

The impression came to my mind to print my own enclosure notecards of the coastal flower shops’ gorgeous fresh flowers, to express love to someone else.

From there, I was fortunate to gather ten shops from San Clemente up the coast to Newport Beach whose owners also found my notecards beautiful for their customers.

I loved doing the photography and getting to know all the good people associated with it.Through my photography, I learned a new way to bring joy to others.

This is how my little card business started.
